No more than 6 people per group — ever. This means more one-on-one time with your guide, less crowded waters, and a genuinely personal experience. Many of our clients return year after year, and some have become lifelong friends through our trips.

Norway
Trout and Arctic char fishing on crystal-clear fjord waters surrounded by majestic mountains. Stay in traditional Norwegian cabins with panoramic views. Morning sessions start at dawn when the mist still clings to the surface — the best time for trophy char. Evenings are spent around a fire, sharing stories over freshly grilled fish.

New Zealand
An expedition to pristine South Island rivers for wild brown and rainbow trout. Sight-fishing in gin-clear water with a backdrop of snow-capped peaks. Our story
FishingCo was born in 2018 from a simple idea: fishing trips should be effortless. Our founder, a lifelong angler and former outdoor journalist, was tired of spending more time planning logistics than actually fishing. He wanted to create a service where you book a trip, show up, and everything is already perfect — from the gear in your hand to the dinner on your plate.
We started with a single tour in Norway — six people, one guide, five days on the fjords. The feedback was overwhelming. Word spread quickly through fishing communities, and within a year we expanded to New Zealand and Iceland. Today we operate in 12 destinations across four continents, but our philosophy hasn't changed one bit: small groups, expert guides, and an obsessive attention to every detail.
Every tour is designed by anglers, for anglers. We fish these waters ourselves every single season. We know when the hatches happen, where the big fish hold, which stretch of river fishes best in the morning light, and which lodge serves the best dinner after a long day on the water. That local, first-hand knowledge is what sets us apart from everyone else.
All our tours follow strict catch-and-release practices. We partner with local conservation groups and contribute a portion of every booking to river restoration and habitat protection projects across all our destinations.
We deliberately limit the number of tours per season. Fewer trips means better experiences — for our clients, for our guides, and for the delicate ecosystems we all depend on and cherish.
Many of our clients have become close friends — both with our team and with each other. We host annual meetups, share fishing reports, and maintain a vibrant community of passionate anglers from around the world.
